AI training courses for teams: what we run and how to choose
Every instructor-led course and training track Kriv AI runs, by tool and by role, with plain criteria for choosing one and an honest answer on certification.
AI training courses from Kriv AI are instructor-led and built for teams, not individuals: product tracks for Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and ChatGPT that run on your own work, and 20 role-based courses for office, healthcare, construction, sales, HR and operations staff. Choose by role, tools, governance content and delivery format.
what this page covers
What Kriv AI's AI training courses are, and who they are for
Kriv AI is a consultancy that trains teams. Every course on this page is taught live by an instructor to your team. There is no self-paced video library.
The catalogue has two parts. Product training tracks teach the AI assistant your company has licensed, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini or ChatGPT, on your own documents and work, with a usage policy built alongside. Role-based courses teach a transferable method for specific roles, using sample documents the instructor provides, so they suit a team that has not settled on a tool yet.
If you want to compare training by tool, role and risk in one place, our AI training for employees page sets the tracks side by side. This page is the full course list.
Who these courses are not for
Individuals looking for a self-paced certificate, anyone who wants a course to stand in for a compliance programme, and teams that want us to build their systems inside a training session. Build work is a separate engagement.
how to choose
How to choose AI training courses for a team
The best AI training course for a team is the one that fits the people, the tools and the rules they work under. A course that is right for a developer will waste a front office's day. Ask five questions before you book any AI training course, ours or anyone else's.
For a regulated team, weigh the governance criterion above the others. A course that skips it trains people to move faster with the same blind spots.
| Criterion | What to ask | How Kriv AI's courses answer it |
|---|---|---|
| Role fit | Is the course written for the job these people do, or for AI in general? | Role-based courses are each written for a named audience. Product tracks are split by role inside the track. |
| Hands-on work on your tools | Do people practise on the assistant and the kind of documents they will use on Monday? | Product tracks run on your own work in the tool you licensed. Role-based courses use instructor-provided sample documents on a general purpose assistant, which teaches a method that transfers across tools. |
| Governance content | Does it teach what data stays out, which outputs a person must check, and when to escalate? | Product tracks include governance work alongside the training, such as a usage policy or a review of what the tool can reach. Among the role-based courses, Safe AI Use in Regulated Workplaces is built on that subject, and AI Verification and Quality Control on checking output. |
| Live or self-paced | Do your people need an instructor correcting technique, or a library they can watch alone? | All live: in person, virtual or hybrid. Our role-based course pages state there is no recorded version. |
| Assessment | How will you know people learned it, and do you need a scored exam? | Our course pages do not describe a graded exam. If you need a scored credential, see the vendor programmes in the certification section below. |

role based catalogue
Kriv AI course catalogue: role-based instructor-led courses
These 20 courses each teach a named audience a method it can apply to any document. Each is a course, not a consulting engagement: it teaches the skill and does not produce documents or set up systems for anyone.
Where to start: AI training for beginners and for regulated teams
A team new to AI can start with AI Essentials for Small Business Teams or AI Essentials for Construction Office Staff, then add AI Verification and Quality Control. A team handling patient, client or claims data should add Safe AI Use in Regulated Workplaces. Managers who will own the rollout can take AI Adoption and Risk for Managers first.
Massachusetts employers: the Express Program
Each AI training class in this table is listed in the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Express Course Directory. A listing is a funding-eligibility determination, not a state endorsement or an accreditation. Eligible Massachusetts employers can read how the program works on our Massachusetts training grant page.

certification explained
AI training certification: what a certificate does and does not mean
Two different things get called an AI training certificate. Knowing which one you need saves a wasted booking.
A completion record
A completion record shows that a person attended a course and what it covered. On Express courses we track attendance per participant, and a record of the rules taught, attendance and materials used can be prepared on request for your compliance team. That is evidence of training for your own files. It is not a credential anyone outside your company has assessed.
An accredited or vendor certification
A certification is issued by a body that tests people against a published standard, for example by exam. Kriv AI does not issue an accredited certification, and none of our courses leads to a third-party credential. Our healthcare and regulated-workplace course pages state that they are not a compliance certification.
If a scored credential matters, go to the vendor. Microsoft Learn's credentials page describes Microsoft Certifications, earned by passing an exam, and Microsoft Applied Skills, earned through a lab-based assessment. For Claude, Claude Academy is Anthropic's own learning site, and Anthropic's course site on Skilljar says it uses progress data to provide completion certificates. Check each programme's own pages for what it issues. A team course and a vendor credential do different jobs.
how a course runs
How booking a course with Kriv AI works
1. Discovery call
Tell us the team, the roles, the tools you have licensed and the data people handle. We say which course or track fits, or whether none does.
2. Scope and price
Every course and track is scoped and priced after a short discovery call. Massachusetts employers can ask whether the Express Program applies.
3. Delivery
A senior practitioner who both scopes and delivers teaches the group live, in person, virtually or hybrid.
4. Afterwards
What your team keeps differs by track, and each course page lists it; on Claude tracks the materials are yours to keep and adapt. Nonprofit organizations can ask about our nonprofit training terms.

Frequently asked questions about AI training courses for teams: what we run and how to choose
What are the best AI training courses for a team?
The best AI training course is the one that fits your people's roles, the AI tools you have licensed and the rules you work under. Check five things: role fit, hands-on practice on realistic work, governance content, live or self-paced delivery, and how learning is assessed. Our catalogue splits into product tracks for a licensed assistant and role-based courses written for specific roles.
Do your courses come with an AI training certificate or certification?
Kriv AI does not issue an accredited certification, and our courses do not lead to a third-party credential. On Express courses we track attendance per participant, and a record of the rules taught, attendance and materials used can be prepared on request for your compliance files. If someone needs a scored credential, vendor programmes such as Microsoft Certifications, earned by exam, are the route.
Is your AI training online, or is there an AI training center near me?
We do not run a public training centre or an online self-paced library. Every course is taught live to your group, in person, virtually, or as a hybrid. Our role-based course pages state there is no recorded version, because the practice segments need an instructor correcting technique. Tell us where your team is on a discovery call and we will say what format works.
Which AI training is best for beginners?
Start with AI Essentials for Small Business Teams, or AI Essentials for Construction Office Staff for a construction office. The small business course page says it is the shortest entry point in the catalogue and assumes no prior AI experience. Add AI Verification and Quality Control next, so people learn to catch errors before anyone relies on the output.
Is Kriv AI an AI training platform or tool?
No. We are a consultancy that teaches teams, not a software platform. Product tracks teach the assistant your company already licensed. Role-based courses are tool-agnostic: they are taught on a general purpose assistant, and the instructions, checking habits and data boundaries carry over to whichever tool you use.
What is generative AI training, and which course covers it?
Generative AI training teaches people to direct assistants that write, summarize and extract, and to check what they produce. Our courses teach that for specific audiences. For general skill, take Prompt Writing and Instruction Design; for a licensed tool, take the matching product track. Add AI Verification and Quality Control so people check what the assistant produces.
Is there an AI implementation course for managers?
AI Adoption and Risk for Managers covers assessing which tasks fit, risk, the components of a workplace AI policy and planning a staged rollout. It teaches managers to run the implementation themselves; it does not set up systems for them. If you want the rollout or build done for you, that is a separate engagement we scope on a discovery call.
How much do your AI training courses cost?
Each course or track is scoped and priced after a short discovery call, because group size, format and the tools involved change the work. Massachusetts employers can check whether the Workforce Training Fund Express Program applies on our Massachusetts training grant page, and registered nonprofits can ask about our nonprofit training terms.
