The employer applies directly to Commonwealth Corporation, naming the course and the people who will attend. We give you the course details the application asks for. We are the provider, not the applicant.
Massachusetts employers
Massachusetts has a fund for this. Most small employers never use it.
The Workforce Training Fund Express Program reimburses Massachusetts employers with 100 or fewer employees for approved training, up to $15,000 a year. You apply, you are reimbursed, and the allocation resets every January.
Current status
Kriv AI is a registered Express provider and AI for Office and Administrative Teams (C-16355) is listed in the Express Course Directory. A listing is a funding-eligibility determination, not a state endorsement.
How it works

10 hours, 100% instructor-led, in person or virtually. We track attendance per participant, because the listed hours are a billing commitment and a partial attendee is pro-rated.
You submit for reimbursement
You submit an invoice and a trainee list, which must agree with each other. We issue an invoice that reproduces the listed course name exactly, because a mismatch delays or voids a claim.

Every course Kriv AI has filed with the Express Provider Portal, with its real status. A course only becomes claimable once Commonwealth Corporation approves it — nothing below is presented as funded until that happens.
The arithmetic
Three limits apply at the same time.
Whichever binds first is the one that governs. This is worth checking before you plan a cohort, because headcount cannot be adjusted after the fact.

Worked example on our 10-hour course at $3,000 per participant: 5 participants reaches $15,000, essentially a company's whole annual allowance in one delivery. Because the allowance resets each January, a December cohort and a January cohort draw on two separate allocations.
Before you apply
Taking the smaller grant first can cost you the larger one.
Workforce Training Fund policy prohibits General Program funding for a topic already addressed by a prior grant, including an Express grant, for five years after closeout. So an Express course on AI today can block a much larger General Program application on AI tomorrow.
The restriction does not run both ways. A prior General grant limits only the specific employees who attended it, not the topic. If your organization is large enough that a General application is realistic, the usual right order is General first, then Express for staff deliberately held out of that group and for new hires.
We will tell you which situation you are in before you apply, including when the answer is the engagement that pays us less. Confirm the details with Commonwealth Corporation as well, in writing.

Which employers are eligible?

Eligibility is determined by Commonwealth Corporation, not by Kriv AI. The employer applies directly and the reimbursement is paid to the employer.
Who applies, and who gets the money?
The employer applies and the employer is reimbursed. Kriv AI is the training provider, not the applicant. We supply the course details you need for the application and an invoice that matches the listed course exactly, but the application and the reimbursement request are yours to submit.
How much can one company claim?
Three limits apply at once: $300 per instructional hour per participant, $3,000 per person per course, and $15,000 per company per calendar year. The annual limit resets each January, so training scheduled across a year boundary draws on two separate allocations.
What is not covered?
Materials, exam fees, travel and accommodation, software licences and tool access are not reimbursable. Neither is consulting or implementation work. This is why our delivery is priced per participant for instruction only, and why virtual delivery is usually the better economics for an employer.
Should we use this or apply for a General Program grant?
Ask us before you decide, because the order matters and it is easy to get wrong. A prior Express-funded course prohibits General Program funding on that same topic for five years after closeout. If your organization is large enough that a six-figure General grant is realistic, filing General first and running Express afterwards for staff held out of that group is usually the better sequence. We will tell you which situation you are in even when the answer is the smaller engagement for us.
Does being in the state directory mean Massachusetts recommends Kriv AI?
No. A directory listing means a course has met the program's requirements for funding eligibility. It is not an endorsement, an accreditation, or a recommendation of any provider, and we will not present it as one.
