    Kriv AI

    Pricing & engagement

Scoped to the work. Not the invoice.

Every Kriv AI engagement is fixed-fee and scoped upfront. You know what you're getting and what it costs before we start. Discovery call first, we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit and what a realistic engagement looks like.

    Engagement models

    Three ways to engage.

    Assessment

    AI Readiness & Governance Assessment

Know exactly where you stand before you build. We assess your data posture, existing AI use, regulatory exposure, and governance gaps, then hand you a clear-eyed report your compliance team can act on.

    • Regulatory exposure mapped to your specific industry
    • Gap analysis against NIST AI RMF and applicable frameworks
    • Prioritized roadmap with honest build vs. buy recommendations

    Fixed-fee. Delivered in 3–4 weeks. 100% upfront.

    Available on AWS Marketplace

    Project

Governed AI Build or Training Program

A scoped engagement, defined deliverables, defined timeline. Whether it's a Claude Code training program for your engineering team or a governed agentic pipeline for a specific workflow, we build it and hand it over documented.

    • Named deliverables agreed upfront, no scope creep
    • Audit documentation included standard
    • The same practitioner who scopes it delivers it

Fixed-fee. Typically 3–8 weeks. 30% deposit, balance on delivery.

    Available on AWS Marketplace

    Retainer

    Ongoing Governance & Operations

For organizations that need a senior AI governance practitioner available ongoing. We run the MLOps pipelines, maintain compliance documentation, and serve as a named point of accountability.

    • Monthly governance reviews and evidence collection
    • Continuous audit readiness, no annual scramble
    • Direct senior practitioner access, no ticketing system in between

Monthly retainer. Quarterly review. Minimum 3-month commitment.

    How we work

    Straight answers on pricing.

    Fixed scope, not open billing

We quote projects as fixed-fee. You know the outcome and the cost before we start. Hourly billing is reserved for staff augmentation and advisory calls.

    No free assessments

A real assessment requires real time and real expertise. We don't offer free samples, our portfolio is the proof. If you need to validate fit first, that's what the free readiness check is for.

    Right-sized to the work

If the scope doesn't fit a standard engagement, we adjust scope. The $200/hr floor isn't a starting point for negotiation; it's what senior governed AI delivery costs.

    Procure through AWS if preferred

56 of our professional services are available on AWS Marketplace. If you have an EDP or MACC commitment, you can use existing AWS spend to engage Kriv AI.

Not sure which model fits? Start with a discovery call.

30 minutes with a practitioner. We'll scope honestly and tell you what a realistic engagement looks like, and whether we're the right firm for it.

    Straight answers

Questions about pricing & engagement models.

How does Kriv AI price its engagements?

Engagements are fixed-fee and scoped upfront, you know the deliverables, timeline, and price before work begins. We structure most work as a scoped assessment, a defined project build, or an ongoing retainer, so there's no open-ended billing and no surprise invoices.

What's the smallest way to start working with you?

The lightest entry point is a scoped AI readiness assessment or a discovery workshop. It produces a concrete governance and implementation plan you can act on, with or without Kriv AI, so you get real value before committing to a larger build.

Do you bill hourly or time-and-materials?

Project work is fixed-fee, so cost doesn't drift with hours. Hourly arrangements are reserved for advisory or staff-augmentation where that genuinely fits. For delivery work, fixed-fee keeps incentives aligned and scope predictable.

Why fixed-fee instead of open-ended consulting hours?

Fixed-fee removes the incentive to run up hours and gives your finance team a number they can plan around. Scope is agreed in writing, and any change is handled as an explicit, priced adjustment. You stay in control of spend.

    Who actually does the work?

Senior practitioners. Kriv AI is a practitioner-led firm, so the people scoping your engagement are the people delivering it, with governance, compliance, and HIPAA-aligned delivery built into the work from day one.
