An AI workshop for your team, taught live on the work they do
Kriv AI runs live AI workshops for business teams, in person at your office, online, or both. Each workshop is built from our instructor-led courses, so people practise on realistic work and leave with habits they use the next day.
An AI workshop is a short, live session where a team learns to use an AI assistant on realistic work, with an instructor correcting technique as they go. Kriv AI's workshops are built from our instructor-led courses and run in person, online or as a hybrid. The aim is a usable result on day one plus clear rules on what data stays out and which outputs a person must check.
what it is
What an AI workshop is, and how it differs from a course
A workshop is the short form. It fits into part of a working day, covers one clear goal and is built around practice rather than slides. A course goes further over more sessions. Both are taught live to your group; neither is a recorded video library, because the practice segments need an instructor correcting technique.
Teams book a workshop when they want a fast, shared starting point: everyone on the same assistant, using the same rules, before deciding whether a longer course is worth it. The full catalogue of courses a workshop can draw on is on our AI training courses page.
formats
AI workshop formats we run for teams
Each format draws on one or more of our existing courses. We agree the format with you before booking.
| Format | Built from | Good fit for |
|---|---|---|
| First-steps workshop | AI Essentials for Small Business Teams | A whole team new to AI that needs a usable first result and the basic safety rules. |
| Better prompts workshop | Prompt Writing and Instruction Design | Staff already using an assistant who get inconsistent results. |
| Checking AI output workshop | AI Verification and Quality Control | Teams whose AI drafts go to customers, regulators or managers. |
| Managers' workshop | AI Adoption and Risk for Managers | Leaders who must decide where AI is allowed and how its use is reviewed. |
| Regulated workplace workshop | Safe AI Use in Regulated Workplaces | Healthcare, financial services and insurance teams with strict data rules. |
| Claude Discovery Workshop | Claude Enterprise training (entry tier) | Organisations deciding how to roll out Claude, starting with priorities and rules. |
sample agenda
A sample half-day AI workshop agenda
This is an example for a first-steps workshop. We adjust it to your team, tools and data rules.
1. Ground rules
Which assistant the team will use, what data must never go into it and which outputs a person must check.
2. A first useful result
Each person completes a real task from their own role, such as a summary or a draft reply, with the instructor reviewing it.
3. Writing clear instructions
How to give the assistant context, an example and a format, and how to fix a bad result instead of starting over.
4. Where AI goes wrong
Practice spotting invented facts, missed details and confident errors in AI output.
5. Your team's next steps
The group agrees three tasks to try in the following week and who will share what worked.
leaves with
What your team leaves with
A workshop is judged by what people do the following week, so each one ends with things they can use straight away. Participants keep the session materials, including the instruction templates they practised with. The group leaves with a short written list of ground rules for the assistant: what data stays out, which outputs a person checks and when to ask for help.
Each participant also leaves with two or three tasks from their own role that they have already done once with the instructor watching. That is the difference between a workshop that changes habits and a demonstration people forget. If the group wants to go further, we recommend which of our longer courses fits, and why.
not for
Who an AI workshop is not for
A workshop is the wrong choice if your organisation has not yet decided which AI tools staff may use, or what data may go into them. Training people before those decisions exist teaches habits you may have to undo. In that case we start with the rules, then train.
It is also not a substitute for a technical build. A workshop teaches people to use an assistant well; it does not connect AI to your systems or automate a process. If that is the goal, an automation engagement is the better first step, and a workshop can follow so the team knows how to work with what was built.
regulated
AI workshops for regulated teams
Our focus includes healthcare, life sciences, financial services and insurance. For teams in these sectors the ground rules come first and take longer. We write the workshop's rules to your existing policy, so people learn which records may never go into a general purpose assistant and which tasks need a second check, before they practise anything.
Where the team uses a licensed enterprise assistant, we teach on that tool with your settings. Where it does not, we teach on a general purpose assistant with instructor-provided sample documents, so no real records are used in the room.
near me
Looking for an AI workshop near me?
We do not run a public training centre or open-enrolment sessions. Workshops are delivered to your group at your office, online, or as a hybrid for teams split across sites. Tell us where your people are on a discovery call and we will say which format works.
Massachusetts employers can fund training through the Workforce Training Fund Express Program; all twenty of our courses are approved for it. Our Massachusetts training grant page explains how that works.
how booking works
How booking an AI workshop works
1. Discovery call
We learn who will attend, which tools they use and what you want them to be able to do afterwards. Workshops are scoped and priced after this short discovery call.
2. Format and rules agreed
We propose the format, the agenda and the ground rules for data, and confirm them with you in writing.
3. The workshop
Taught live by an instructor, with every participant practising on realistic tasks.
4. Afterwards
Participants keep the materials. Attendance records can be prepared on request, and we recommend whether a longer course would help.

Frequently asked questions about An AI workshop for your team, taught live on the work they do
What happens in an AI workshop?
Your team learns to use an AI assistant on realistic tasks from their own roles, with an instructor correcting technique as they go. A first-steps session covers the ground rules for data, a first useful result, writing clear instructions and spotting errors in AI output, and ends with each person choosing tasks to try the following week.
How long is an AI workshop?
A workshop fits into a half day or a full day, depending on the format and the group. A first-steps workshop can run as a half day; a regulated workplace workshop needs more time on ground rules. We agree the length with you on the discovery call.
Is there an AI workshop near me?
We do not run public sessions at a training centre. We deliver workshops to your group at your office, online, or as a hybrid, so location is set by where your team works. Tell us where your people are and we will propose a format that fits.
Online or in person: which works better?
Both work when the group practises during the session. In person suits teams new to AI, because the instructor can see each screen. Online suits teams spread across sites and people who already use an assistant. Hybrid works when most attend together and a few join remotely.
Which AI tool will the workshop use?
If your organisation licenses an enterprise assistant, we teach on that tool with your settings. If not, we teach on a general purpose assistant with sample documents we provide. The instructions, checking habits and data rules carry over to whichever tool your team uses later.
Do participants get a certificate?
We do not issue an accredited credential. Participants keep the materials, and attendance records can be prepared on request for your training files. If someone needs a formal credential, vendor programmes earned by exam are the route; our AI training courses page explains the difference.
How much does an AI workshop cost?
Workshops are scoped and priced after a short discovery call, once we know the group size, the format and the tools involved. Massachusetts employers may be able to fund approved courses through the Workforce Training Fund Express Program.
