Consulting, Governed AI
AI Consulting Services From Senior Practitioners
Readiness and strategy, agentic automation, governed deployment of Claude, OpenAI and Copilot, staff training, governance as an ongoing service, and custom model work. A senior practitioner who both scopes and delivers, for organisations that have to explain their AI to an auditor.
AI consulting services from Kriv AI cover six things: AI readiness and strategy, agentic automation, governed deployment of Claude, OpenAI and Microsoft Copilot, role-based staff training, governance delivered as an ongoing service, and custom model work. Kriv AI sends a senior practitioner who both scopes and delivers: no handoffs, no bench, no discovery theater. Every engagement is scoped for healthcare, life sciences, financial services and insurance teams whose compliance function has to sign it off.
services overview
AI Consulting Services: What Kriv AI Actually Does
AI consulting is a loose term. Some firms mean a strategy deck, others mean a team of engineers billed by the month. Here is exactly what we sell, and one thing up front: our public delivery record is training work, and we do not yet have a named case study for an agentic build or a governance engagement.
| Service | What you get | Where it usually starts |
|---|---|---|
| AI readiness and strategy | An inventory of where AI is already used, a ranked list of use cases worth doing, and the governance gaps that would block them. | Leadership wants an AI plan, or an audit has asked what AI you use. |
| Agentic automation | One scoped workflow automated with AI agents: defined access, human approval on irreversible steps, and logs a reviewer can query. | A manual, rules-heavy process that staff already document well. |
| Governed deployment of Claude, OpenAI and Copilot | The access model, usage rules, logging and rollout plan for an assistant your organisation has bought or is about to buy. | Licences are purchased but security or compliance has not approved wider use. |
| Training | Role-based live sessions, written materials and starter kits, built on your own work and your own rules. | Licences are live, but usage is low or risky. |
| Governance as a service | Ongoing AI governance and compliance, or MLOps governance for teams running their own models, delivered as a continuing service rather than a one-off report. | You have AI in production and no one whose job it is to keep it governed. |
| Custom models | LLM fine-tuning and custom model work where an off-the-shelf model is not enough, with the same governance applied. | A clear task where general models have been tried and fall short. |
who for
Who Our AI Consultants Work With, and Who Should Look Elsewhere
Our AI consultants do their best work for organisations where getting AI wrong has a regulatory or reputational cost, and where someone inside will own the result after we leave.
A good fit
Healthcare providers and health plans, life sciences companies, banks and wealth managers, insurers, and the regulated mid-market firms that serve them. Organisations that have bought Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot licences and now need the rules, the rollout and the training to match. Teams that want a working, governed result in weeks, not a programme that runs for quarters before anything ships.
Not a good fit
If you need hundreds of contractors on a multi-year transformation, we are not the right fit. If you want AI research, novel model architectures or a product built for resale, we are not that firm either. And if there is no budget owner and no executive sponsor, a discovery call will mostly confirm that the first job is internal.
AI consulting for small business
Smaller organisations usually do not need a consulting engagement at all. They need staff who use one assistant well and safely. For that, our small-business training programmes are a better starting point than a consulting scope, and we will say so on the call rather than sell you more than you need.
senior practitioner model
A Senior Practitioner Who Scopes and Delivers
Large firms deploy pyramid structures, project managers, business analysts, junior consultants, and engagement leads all billing to the same project. Kriv AI sends a senior practitioner who both scopes and delivers: no handoffs, no bench, no discovery theater.
Our clearest delivery record is a Claude Code training engagement for a multi-billion-dollar distribution enterprise, delivered in 3 weeks for $28K against the incumbent consultancy's $400K+ quote and 12–16 weeks; it is training work, not an agentic build or a governance programme.
What that means for you in practice: the person on the discovery call is the person who writes the readiness review, runs the workshops and hands over to your owner. There is no second team to brief and no translation layer between the scope and the work.
generative and agentic
Generative AI Consulting and Agentic AI Consulting
The two are often sold as one thing. They carry very different risks, so we scope them differently.
Generative AI consulting
Generative AI consulting covers assistants that draft, summarise and answer: Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot in the hands of staff. The risk sits with the person using the tool, so the work is mostly rules, access and training. Which data may go in, who checks the output, how usage is logged, and what each role is trained to do. Most organisations need this before they need agents.
Agentic AI consulting
Agentic AI consulting covers systems that take actions: reading files, calling internal systems, sending messages or writing records without a person typing each step. The risk sits with the design. We scope each agent's access to the smallest set the job needs, put a human approval in front of any step that is hard to reverse, log every tool call where security can query it, and roll out one team at a time. If an agent cannot be governed that way, we recommend not building it.
engagement structure
How an AI Consulting Engagement Runs
Every engagement follows the same sequence, whatever the service. The length of each phase depends on scope and is agreed before work starts.
1. Discovery call
A short conversation about the problem, the data involved, the regulator or auditor you answer to and who will own the result. If we are not the right fit, you hear it here.
2. Readiness review
We look at what you already have: AI tools in use, policies, data access and logging. The output is a short written assessment of what blocks the use case.
3. Scoped proposal
Named deliverables and sign-off points, scoped and priced after the discovery call and readiness review.
4. Build or deliver
The automation, deployment or training itself, run in stages with a review gate between pilot and wider rollout.
5. Governance documentation
The owner, scope, rules and change-control approach your compliance or risk team will want to see. A formal sign-off pack can be prepared on request.
6. Handover
Your named owner takes over with the runbook and materials. If you want us to stay on, governance as a service is a separate, ongoing arrangement.
regulated governance
Governance Built In for Healthcare, Life Sciences, Finance and Insurance
Our niche is regulated industries. We write the rules to the policy and frameworks you already answer to, such as HIPAA, SR 26-2, 21 CFR Part 11 or the NAIC Model Bulletin on AI systems, and governance shapes the scope from the first call rather than being added at the end.
| Industry | Question we start with | What we scope with you |
|---|---|---|
| Healthcare | Which patient information may each role use, in which tool? | Role-specific data rules, limits for clinical and administrative staff, and what gets logged. |
| Life sciences | Does the AI touch validated systems or electronic records? | A boundary between AI use and validated records, decided with your quality team. |
| Financial services | Who owns each AI tool, and who reviews changes to it? | Ownership and change-control documentation in your model-risk team's own format. |
| Insurance | Are vendor assistants and agents governed, not only in-house models? | Rules that cover third-party AI tools alongside anything built internally. |
credentials gaps
Partner Credentials and What We Cannot Show You Yet
Our partner credentials, in the exact wording each program allows:
Anthropic: Claude Partner Network, Select partner · Services Track; program details at claude.com/partners, and written confirmation from the Claude Partner Network team is available on request. OpenAI: OpenAI Partner Network · Select tier. Microsoft: Solutions Partner for Cloud & AI Platforms · Partner ID 7036589. Databricks: Databricks partner; our listed status is Partner, Active. AWS: AWS Marketplace seller.
What is missing: no consulting rate card, because a readiness review and an agent in production are too different for a list price to be honest; and no Google partnership, though we train teams on Gemini independently.

Pricing and Getting Started
Consulting engagements are scoped and priced after a short discovery call.
Our pricing page explains how engagements are structured. If you already know which service you need, the solution pages linked here go into more depth. Otherwise, book a discovery call and bring the use case, the data it touches and the name of whoever will have to sign it off.

Frequently asked questions about AI Consulting Services From Senior Practitioners
What do AI consulting services from Kriv AI include?
Six services: AI readiness and strategy, agentic automation, governed deployment of Claude, OpenAI and Microsoft Copilot, role-based staff training, governance as an ongoing service including MLOps governance, and custom model work. Each engagement follows the same sequence of discovery, readiness review, scoped proposal, delivery, governance documentation and handover, so you know what you will receive before work begins.
How much does AI consulting cost?
Consulting work is scoped and priced after a short discovery call. We do not publish a consulting rate card, because a readiness review and an agent running in production are very different pieces of work, and a single list price would mislead one of them. Our pricing page explains how engagements are structured, and the discovery call is where scope and price are set.
How are your AI consultants different from a large consultancy?
Large firms deploy pyramid structures, project managers, business analysts, junior consultants, and engagement leads all billing to the same project. Kriv AI sends a senior practitioner who both scopes and delivers: no handoffs, no bench, no discovery theater. For you, that means the person who hears your problem on the discovery call is the person who does the work and hands it over to your owner.
What is the difference between generative AI consulting and agentic AI consulting?
Generative AI consulting covers assistants that draft and answer, where the risk sits with the person using the tool, so the work is rules, access and training. Agentic AI consulting covers systems that take actions on their own, where the risk sits in the design: scoped access, human approval before irreversible steps, logging every tool call, and a staged rollout. Most organisations should get the first right before the second.
Do you offer AI consulting for small business?
Usually we recommend against a consulting engagement for a small business. What most small teams need is staff who use one assistant well and safely, and our small-business training programmes cover that. If your small business handles regulated data, such as patient or financial information, a short readiness review can still be worth it, and we will say which on the call.
Which AI platforms do you deploy and govern?
Claude, OpenAI models and Microsoft Copilot are the assistants we deploy and govern. Our credentials: Claude Partner Network, Select partner · Services Track; OpenAI Partner Network · Select tier; Solutions Partner for Cloud & AI Platforms · Partner ID 7036589; Databricks partner, with a listed status of Partner, Active; AWS Marketplace seller. We have no Google partnership, though we do train teams on Gemini independently.
Can you work with a regulated healthcare, finance or insurance organisation?
That is our niche. We write the rules to the policy and frameworks you already answer to, such as HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, SR 26-2 or the NAIC Model Bulletin, and governance shapes the scope from the first call. Governance documentation is part of every engagement, and a formal sign-off pack for your compliance or risk team can be prepared on request.
